Outside In - A Look At Adults With Attention Deficit Disorder - Video, Starring: Mariette Hartley
Excellent video produced by a mother whose adult son has been diagnosed with ADHD.
This video has personal interviews with adult sufferers who talk openly about their lives and the ways they cope with ADHD; they talk frankly about their problems and successes. There are also interviews with prominent professionals who discuss the issues surrounding the condition and the various treatment options.
The video helps us to realise that ADHD doesn't go away when the child reaches adulthood, it shows how we can still succeed in life despite having ADHD.
The final part of the video talks to one whole family whose adult son now has a diagnosis and how the relationship between him and his brothers has improved since, with appropriate treatment and understanding of the disorder.
A valuable contribution to the understanding of adult ADHD.
