Surviving Your Adolescents: How to Manage, and Let Go of, Your 13-18 Year Olds
by Thomas W Phelan PhD

Part of a set of four books including (1,2,3 Magic, Surviving Your Adolescents, All About ADD and Self Esteem Revolutions in Children) which can be read together or at various times by Thomas Phelan who is a well-respected expert and lecturer on ADD and child discipline. He is a father of an ADD child so he talks and draws very much on his own experiences, making all of his writings believable and at times humorous.

Surviving Your Adolescents Again many of Thomas Phelans own experiences of dealing with teenagers with ADD come through in his writing, giving ways to improves parent/teen relationships and encouragement to parents on letting go of their ADD teen. However he acknowledges and supports parents, through practical advice, for the hard times when they must take control of certain situations and not give in to emotional blackmail by their teens. Once again this book is practical with a humorous input to help live and cope with the ADD teen.

All of the books by Dr Phelan are easy to read in parts humorous, excellent choice for the whole spectrum of raising a child with ADD.
