TBringing together a large field of experts this book is much needed and long overdue and looks at the unique issues for women with ADHD. This follows on from the earlier book understanding girls with ADHD.

The authors look at gender issues, diagnostic criteria more appropriate for women and some of the many complex co-existing conditions that must be addressed.

Looking at all life stages from young women, college, single and married women, becoming and mum and issues at work, the problems with organisation and general life management which are specific to females.

This book is essential for all women who believe that they have ADHD or who are diagnosed as unlike any other book it looks all of the issues from a female perspective.

This is also essential for the professionals who work with people with ADHD so that they can learn more about the specific issues women face and become better and diagnosing and treating women with ADHD.
