This is practical as it looks just like any other digital watch which can be worn on the wrist by anyone, it also comes with a belt clip for those who have difficulty wearing watches like me.
The Watchminder has a constant time display which is helpful for normal use but it has the advantage that you can programme many different alarm settings into it each day as well as setting up the alarm for general things for everyday use.
You can programme the alarm each day to remind you of appointments but you can also programme it to signal everyday for reminders to take medications or other daily things.
It can be used to work on behavioural tasks or to give messages of encouragement at set or random intervals.
The Watchminder comes with almost 60 pre-set messages which can be displayed on the screen which can be used as training aids. You decide on a message you wish to be displayed and set the times you want to work on the goals you have set, either set intervals or random. The Watchminder also has almost 20 per-set training messages.
Watchminder comes with full instructions which are easy to follow and also gives a number of sample applications to help you set up both for the training or reminder mode. The training mode and the reminder mode can be used separately or together which is very useful.
A brilliant idea, easy to use and discreet in the way it reminds only the wearer.
My only adverse comment would be the size. Watchminder is a fairly large watch which may be a bit difficult for children or if the wearer is wearing short sleeves, especially a female. Men don't mind if a watch is fairly large but most females do prefer smaller watches. However as it comes with a belt clip this can be overcome.
However as it looks like a normal watch, no one else would know why it was being worn, they would just assume it is an ordinary watch, this makes it ideal to use as a training or reminder aid.
