When children are aggressive towards members of their family, many parents can feel isolated and ashamed of their child's behaviour. Often, nobody believes you because your child is only abusive within the family home. But Child to Parent Abuse is on the increase.
We are making a documentary series for Channel 5 about families who are experiencing challenging behavior by one or more of their children. By spending time with families who are having difficulties we intend to bring this taboo subject to mainstream attention. We will also be looking at the work that can be done by professionals to help resolve problems within families.
