National ADHD Awareness Week
Family Sponsored Walk
This EVENT is being organised by ADDISS
The National Attention Deficit Disorder Information and Support Service
ADDISS have sent us the following information for this EVENT:
"As part of ADHD Awareness Week ADDISS will be ending the week with a family walk in Richmond Park. The aim of the day is for families living daily with ADHD to come together, make new friends and enjoy the park with your children and of course we would like you to help raise much needed funds for ADDISS. The money will be used to finance our telephone helpline and the ADHD support network which exists across the country.
Registration will take place from 10.30am on the day with an intended start time of 12 noon. The route through the park will start at Roehampton Gate, on to Robin Hood Gate, up to Spankers Hill, past White Lodge, Sheen Cross Wood, possibly over to Adam's pond and back to Roehampton Gate. It's around 2 - 2.5 miles and is a manageable route and length for all ages.
If you haven't been to Richmond Park you are in for a treat. The park is full of deer and really interesting places to discover. Your children will love it.
When you have registered ADDISS will send you your sponsorship forms, walker numbers and directions.
If you don't wish to walk but would like to volunteer yourself as a marshal on the day please contact ADDISS"
