Intensive Personalised Employment Support
Intensive Personalised Employment Support From The Shaw Trust/Genius Within
IPES is a voluntary employability programme that was set up to ensure support for individuals with a disability who are most at risk of being the furthest from the labour market, helping them learn new skills and ultimately find employment. It is an intensive 15 month programme, with the option of up to 12 months in-work support for those who succeed in gaining employment. Each county is split into MDTs, which consist of three unique Key Workers and an Employer Engagement Consultant to support with sourcing suitable paid and unpaid vacancies. Each participant will benefit from the support of all Key Workers within each area, however they will be appropriately referred to one substantive Key Worker based on their disability/long term health condition:
